Job Description
Pakistan Security Printing Corporation (Pvt.) Limited, (PSPC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of State Bank of Pakistan under Companies Act, 2017. The Corporation, being the nation’s sole security printing entity responsible for producing banknotes, passports, and other security documents, is looking for dynamic, high caliber, experienced professional to further strengthen its capacity to achieve its strategic goals and objectives.
The incumbent is responsible for the management and facilitation, administration and profitability of the Power house in the PSPC premises. The power house operations consisting of, but not limited to: Optimal operations of gas generators and associated waste heat recovery chillers / multi energy chillers and cooling towers. Timely Preventative maintenance and repair (or replacement) of all ancillary equipment, alternators, DC controls, electrical controls, pumps, cooling devices and air ducts. The incumbent will be responsible to maintain compliance with industry standards and promote innovation, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational excellence.
Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
- Monitoring the operation of power generation equipment to ensure that it operates within the desired specifications provided by the OEM of Equipment.
- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of plant equipment as per the Inspection plan in the Equipment’s Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
- Implementing upgrades and modifications to existing systems to improve performance and reduce environmental impact.
- Coordinating with technical staff and higher management to discuss and strategize plant operations.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to safety and environmental protection.
- Preparing reports on plant operations, outage planning, and other performance metrics necessary for proper management and planning.
- Implementation of correct maintenances as per laid down procedures and OEM recommendations in its Manuals.
- Ensure schedule compliance of planned maintenances.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and propose practical solutions grounded in international best practices.
- Document and review shift wise service activities and repairs performed.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams.
- Set performance goals, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development for team members in collaboration with Group Head.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education:
A minimum of sixteen years of education in Electrical / Power/ Energy Engineering, or a related discipline from reputed university recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Age:
Maximum 35 years as on the last date of submission of application to PSPC.
Experience:
At least 05 years’ relevant experience in any reputable organization.
Compensation:
- Amarket-based package as per Corporation’s policy will be offered.
